Grosse Pointe Park Police say they are looking for a man who attacked a woman with a knife. The victim tells investigators a man approached her as she was walking along Cadieux and Charlevoix last Saturday. He asked to use her phone started following her, then slashed her on the face, chest, and arms. Police Chief David Hiller says the woman fought the man off with her purse. She was treated for wounds at the hospital then released. The suspect is described as a 6’ 2” black male with a slim build.
