Mysterious streak lights up night sky

Thousands of people watched as something streaked across the sky over the Southwestern U.S. Tuesday night. Meteorologist Pedram Javaheri says the fireball was most likely some sort of space debris. The streak appeared to be a meteor that was visible for about 30 seconds before breaking apart, but U.S. Strategic Command is now saying the fireball is some sort of Russian space debris. The object was seen not only in Vegas but also by folks in Arizona and California as well.
