A toddler has died after her mother accidentally ran her over in Oak Park. The accident happened in the driveway of a home at the corner of Sussex and Marlow. The mother accidentally reversed and ran over the 1-year-old girl. There were two other siblings in the vehicle, but no other injuries were reported. Oak Park police rushed the girl to an area hospital where she died. A team of 40 doctors and nurses at Beaumont Hospital were ready to work on the girl, but couldn’t revive her.
Oak Park police say are investigating.
