Election inspectors for hire in Sterling Heights

Sterling Heights officials say they are looking to hire election inspectors for the presidential primary in March. There are two mandatory training sessions for the hirees. Inspectors must be available to work on march 8th…which is primary election day. Some of the duties included in the position are: completing forms, processing voters, helping voters with procedures, and operating equipment. Anyone interesting in applying must be registered to vote in the State of Michigan. High school students are also eligible but can only work 10 hours. The position pays adults $150 for election day and students $75. The Sterling Heights Clerk’s Office is accepting applications.
