Oakland County family judge Lisa Gorcyca who earlier sent three siblings to a detention center for failing to follow her orders and meet with their father, has removed herself from the case. Judge Gorcyca issued an opinion withdrawing herself from the Tshimoni family case because the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission accused her of misconduct. Judge Gorcyca has been handling the case of Omar and Maya Tshimoni , who have been locked in a child custody battle for five years. Both parents are battling for sole custody.
