A little puppy is being treated after it was found inside a plastic trash bag near Mount Elliott & the Boulevard outside the Packard Plant. The chocolate lab/ pit bull mix was found alive and taken to Detroit Dog Rescue for veterinary treatment. The pup appears thin but is okay and will be put up for adoption. It’s not known if someone placed the dog inside the trash can liner, or if it crawled inside itself scavenging for food.
