An 11-year-old Ann Arbor baker, Jane Haviland, will be featured as one of the contestants on a new Food Network show that will debut in the New Year. The Kids Baking Championship is a show that features difficult challenges that test the kids’ baking skills. Jane said when she was young, she “always baked in the kitchen with her mom, help out.” She started baking on her own when she could take food out of the oven on her own. Her favorites things to bake are French Macaroons, cookies, pies, and cakes. The show begins Monday at 8 p.m. and his hosted by Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman.
