Arrests in Eastland Mall shooting

Police arrested several suspects on Tuesday who are believed to be linked to to the fatal shooting at the Eastland Shopping Center on December 26th. The Harper Woods public safety department says the arrests happened at four different locations around Detroit. Harper Woods police had arrested a man soon after the shooting happened, but was released because police didn’t think he was the shooting suspect. 18-year-old Tyrell Lane was shot to death outside of Burlington Coat Factory at the mall on Vernier near Eight Mile. A group of people were allegedly fighting inside the mall before the shooting, but police say they aren’t sure if what lead to the shooting
