A Taylor homeowner opened fire on a man who broke into his garage on Tuesday morning. Police say the break in happened on the 8000 block of Oak Street. An alarm system alerted the homeowner, he grabbed his gun, went out the side door, and entered the garage. The homeowner says the intruder jumped out and that’s when he opened fire, shooting the man in the leg. The suspect was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
