The owner of a pack of pit bulls that mauled a 4-year-old Detroit boy to death will stand trial for the attack. 36th Distrct Court Judge Lydia Nance-Adams continued the $1 million bond for 41-year-old Geneke Lyons, he owned the dogs that killed Xavier Strickland last month as he walked with his mother on Baylis street. Lyons faces charges of second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and possessing dangerous animals causing death.
