Seven candidates will be on the stage in Thursday night’s Republican main debate in South Carolina, Fox Business Network announced Monday. Rand Paul failed to make the main stage, and told CNN he will decline the invitation to the earlier debate. Carly Fiorina, who has also participated in previous prime-time debates, was also relegated to the undercard stage.
Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush and John Kasich will be in the prime-time debate, held in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Paul, Fiorina, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee were invited to the earlier debate.
