Security is tight at Cobo for President Obama’s visit

Security will be a lot tighter today for visitors to the North American International Auto Show. President Obama will be on hand to look at the new vehicles. The president said his visit is to pay tribute to the revival of the city and the auto industry. This will be his first auto show visit. Only two other standing presidents have ever attended the Detroit show.

Bill Clinton did it and Dwight Eisenhower in the late 1950s. Show officials say they have been working with the secret service on security measures for the visit.
