Trader Joe Cashews salmonella poisoning CNN

Trader Joe’s recalled a line of cashews because of concerns of salmonella contamination. Cashews marked as “BEST BEFORE 07.17.2016TF4” are part of the line in question. The company issued a statement warning customers to not eat the cashews and either either throw them away or return them to the store for a refund. No reports of illness have been brought forward. The cashews were distributed to Trader Joe’s stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington State, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
