A town hall style meeting is planned Tuesday evening in Southfield regarding a church’s plan to drill for oil on it’s property. Word of Faith International Christian Center applied for a permit to drill for oil and gas as they organize with a Traverse City oil driller, Jordan Development. The meeting to discuss drilling possibilities will be held at the Southfield Public Library at 6 p.m.
