Emails show high ranking officials in governor Rick Snyder’s administration knew there was a surge in Legionnaires’ disease and that it could be linked to the Flint water long before the governor reported the up-tick to the public last month. Governor Snyder disclosed the legionaries’ cases on January 13th and he said he’d learned of the cases a few days earlier. Emails obtained by progress Michigan show Snyder’s office was aware of the outbreak last march. The outbreak also appeared to be known among state agencies according to the emails.
