Attorneys who filed two class action lawsuits on behalf of the citizens in Flint will be holding a meeting Tuesday evening. The lawsuits contend Flint residents were exposed to lead-tainted water and legionella bacteria. One complaint filed in Genesee County seeks to have Flint users exempted from past or future water bills. A second complaint filed in state court seeks to hold the state financially responsible for what is being called a man-made catastrophe. Tonight’s meeting will be held at the University of Michigan-Flint campus from 6:30 until 8:30.
