Michigan’s record breaking turnout left some precincts running out of ballots

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders got the wins in the Michigan Primary — and the state got out the vote! Over than 2.4 million voters turned out for the presidential primary on Tuesday. It broke the record set in 1972 when there were 1.9 million ballots cast.

Some precincts actually ran out of ballots. in Redford, Ingham County, Flint, and in Kent County. some voters said they had to to wait for more than an hour in line because ballots had to be delivered.  There was also a huge increase in the number of absentee ballots.
