Warren Mayor Jim Fouts and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel have been engaging in a war of words over the past few weeks after Fouts took to Facebook with allegations of illegal dumping at Freedom Hill. Hackel responded, calling the remarks inappropriate and appalling at a news conference the next day, prompting a public back and forth between the two high ranking officials culminating with Mayor Fouts accusing Hackel of taking part in a cover up and threating him. Both men appeared on The Frank Beckmann Show this morning.
