Detroit’s largest residential development in years will have a groundbreaking today.
It’s in the Brush Park neighborhood north of Comerica Park. It’s called ‘City Modern.”
It will focus on a six-building apartment community, including more than 20,000 square feet of of ground-floor retail space.
The retail space will be filled with restaurants, shopping and convenience stores.
The $70-million project being build on more than eight acres. Mayor Duggan and businessman Dan Gilbert will be on hand for the event.
