Grand Rapids police have arrested an FBI agent after a bizarre shooting incident near a fitness center.
It’s not known what prompted the FBI agent to open fire near a Grand Rapids Planet Fitness gym .
Police say a special agent fired 3 shots.
No one was hit.
Local police arrived on scene quickly.
Detectives say the special agent then shot at a police sergeant. The agent was arrested at gunpoint.
The FBI says a team of investigators at their own headquarters is looking into the matter.
