The National Weather Service says todays wintery weather will continue through tomorrow afternoon, Friday December 9, at 4p.m.
NWS issuing a special weather advisory for wintery weather conditions through out south east Michigan.
Bursts of heavier snow showers into the afternoon … Lake effect snow showers will continue to track across southeast michigan into the afternoon. The coverage of snow showers will be greatest between the I-94 and I-69 corridors. The potential exists for bursts of heavier snow showers…Particularly across this corridor. Any heavier bursts will may result in a quick accumulation of light snow on area roads, in addition to a reduction of visibility below 1 mile. Motorists should remain aware of possible changes in driving conditions today.
