Uber Driver Charged With Stabbing Passenger

Bloomfield Township police say an Uber driver has been arrested after stabbing a passenger.

23-year-old Jacomb Allemon is charged with felony assault for stabbing the victim five times in his chest, back and face.
According to police, the victim and his wife ordered an Uber to take them home from a party. Allemon showed up. Police say the victim tapped on his window to let him know they were getting into the car.

Police say Allemon felt he was being disrespected, and he drove about a mile before pulling into the parking lot of a shopping center and ordered them out of the car. The victim asked if they could wait for another Uber because it was snowing.

Police say a fight resulted, and Allemon allegedly stabbed the 49-year-old man. He was able to disarm Allemon and hold him until police arrived.
