Michigan Attorney General announces new charges in Flint Water Crisis

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette has announced criminal charges against four new defendants in the Flint Water Crisis.

Among those charged are former Flint Emergency Managers Darnell Earley and Gerald Ambrose. Flint Public Works Superintendent Howard Croft and Utilities Administrator Daugherty Johnson have also been charged. Schuette announced the charges this morning in 67th District Court in Flint. Schuette says Earley, Ambrose, Croft and Johnson conspired to operate the Flint Water Treatment Plant when it wasn’t safe to do so. Schuette’s new round of criminal charges up’s the total number of people charged to 13.
