Someone made off with more than $3,000 worth of blue jeans from the Designer Warehouse store near Wayne Road and Michigan in Wayne early this morning.
The store owner told police someone used a hammer to smash through a window. The thief got into the store and stole 18 pairs of jeans.
Police say they are trying to come up with surveillance video to help in their investigation.
