Police are investigating a deadly shooting outside of a Detroit elementary school.
Detroit Police say a man in is 20’s pulled up to the Mark Twain School for Scholars just before 8 o’clock this morning to drop his son off for school. The school is located on Visgar, between South Fort and the Fisher Freeway on the city’s Southwest side. After the boy got out of the car, a person in the back seat shot the driver. Police say the shooter is described as a black man standing 5’7 and weighing approximately180 pounds. He was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Stay with WJR News for the latest.
