But a judge ordered 46 year old Torius Inge to serve at least 37 years in prison for the stabbing murder of a Detroit woman.
Inge was convicted of killing 55 year old Gracie Hughes by stabbing her 67 times. Her body was found in her burning home. Inge told the judge that Hughes had the skin scrapings of the real killer under her fingernails. Neither the jury nor the judge bought that argument.
