Roseville police say a homeowner shot an intruder late last night.
It happened on Chippendale near I-696.
Police say the homeowner heard something in the detached garage, got his gun, and went out to the garage. The homeowner then shot the intruder who was inside the garage.
The man was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
