The Waterford Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect and vehicle involved in a Larceny of Trailer. The incident occurred in the 4600 block of Walton Boulevard on January 2, 2017 around 12:05am.
Surveillance video from a nearby business shows the trailer parked in the parking lot of a business. A white Chevrolet pick-up truck backs up to the trailer and a male suspect hooks the trailer to his vehicle, and then drives away with it.
The truck appears to be a mid to late 2000 white extended cab pick-up truck in good condition.
The trailer contained several thousand dollars in construction type tools. It was recovered empty several days later in a nearby parking lot.
