A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a Commerce Township man charged in the brutal slaying of his wife while their children were in the home.
36 year old Noah Ravenscroft is charged with the stabbing death of his 38 year old wife Kristi on January 23rd.
His 10 year old daughter had called 9-1-1 to report there was some kind of argument going on and that her s dad was getting a knife.
When sheriffs deputies arrived at the home on Applebrook Drive, they found Ravenscroft covered with blood and his wife dead in the living room from multiple stab wounds.
Ravenscroft was taken to the hospital for treatment of what appeared to be a self-inflicted wound to the stomach.
The girl who had called 9-1-1 and her 12 and 4 year old siblings were found upstairs and had not been harmed.
