A Novi man is due in court today seeking to retain his parental rights to his three young children.
He’s charged with killing their mother … his wife.
Police say 36 year old Noah Ravenscroft stabbed his wife Kristy to death during a domestic argument on January 23rd.
Authorities say he also stabbed himself in the stomach in an apparent suicide attempt.
He is jail without bond awaiting test to determine his mental capacity.
The children, aged 4, 10 and 12, have been temporarily placed in the custody of relatives.
A petition has been filed to terminate Ravenscroft’s parental rights, but he is fighting it.
A hearing is scheduled for today on the custody issue before an Oakland County Family Court Judge.
