50 year old Gregory Green admitted to killing the children who ranged in age from 4 to 19 last year He said he shot the children’s mother, his wife, in the foot and cut her on the face and then made her watch as he shot and killed the older stepchildren. then placed his own younger children in the car and left it running so that they would die of carbon monoxide poisoning. He was found competent to stand trial, but his attorney said he was sorry for his actions and wanted to enter a plea. 25 years ago that Green stabbed his pregnant first wife, killing both her and her unborn child. He served 16 years in that case.
He is to be sentenced today to up to 102 years in prison.
