A West Michigan man is suing several auto supply robotics companies claiming the wrongful death of his wife, who was killed when a robotic arm swung and smashed her head at Ventra Ionia, where she worked. Wanda Holbrook of Grand Rapids was killed on the job 2 years ago. The lawsuit says the company has not allowed the family’s lawyer to inspect the plant, and the company is disputing a workers compensation claim. The woman has 3 adult children, and grandchildren. Ventra is not named in the lawsuit, but 5 other suppliers are named as defendants.
