President Donald Trump will be in Ypsilanti Twp. today
He’s set to meet with members of the automotive and business community at Willow Run — the future site for autonomous and connected vehicle testing. Rolling back emission regulations is expected to be a main topic of conversation on the trip.
GM and Fiat Chrysler will bus workers who want to attend the event, pay them for the day, and provide lunch.
Ford is also offering to bus workers to see Trump.
Whether the UAW’s president will attend isn’t known. A UAW spokesman declined to comment on whether Dennis Williams plans to attend.
