More factory investments are in Ford’s future.
Ford is expected to announce millions of dollars in investments in three of its area plants.
The Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Flat Rock Assembly Plant and its Romeo Engine Plant are covered by the plans. A promised $700 million investment at the Michigan Assembly Plant was part of the 2015 Ford-United Auto Workers contract.
President Trump has tweeted his approval of the Ford plans, saying they include “JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.”
