A former Macomb County public works official is scheduled to be sentenced today on his guilty plea to posting on-line lies.
52 year old Ken Ahearn of Richmond admitted he posted fake messages indicating that two fellow workers were offering prostitution services.
Prosecutors say that between late July and September of last year Ahearn attached the phone numbers of two male co-workers to classified ads offering escort or prostitution services.
The two victims said they had received a large number of unsolicited calls relating to the ads.
Under the plea deal, Ahearn pled to a single charge that could send him to prison for up to two years.
