Eastpointe police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death at a home on Shakespeare street.
Police were called to the scene around 5 a.m., a woman found dead inside the home.
The woman reportedly lived at the house with her boyfriend with their two children.
Police say the boyfriend was arrested at the scene on a local traffic warrant.
