A 20-month-old Pontiac girl has died . An investigation is underway.
Police in Pontiac said deputies responded to a hospital for a toddler who reportedly fell down a flight of stairs. Officers spoke with the victim’s mother, who said that her boyfriend was watching her daughter at the time of the fall.
The mother brought the child to the hospital.
Authorities questioned the mother’s 24-year-old boyfriend and are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s office said investigations are ongoing.
