4 people, including two teens and a baby, were taken to a hospital after they escaped a house fire on Detroit’s west side.
The fire was at a house in the 2000 block of West Euclid. A woman, her 13-year-old son, and 5-day-old infant were all taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. A teenage girl who lives nearby was also taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. She tried to help.
The 13 year old boy jumped out a second story window to escape the fire.
All of the injuries are considered minor. The fire started in the kitchen area. Detroit Fire says they do not consider it suspicious.
