Luck ran out for a lottery ticket thief.
Police say 37 year old Travis Gray of Detroit stole a book of lottery tickets from a gas station in Ferndale.
Gray was caught on a surveillance video and his picture was made public.
His number was up after his probation officer saw the video and recognized his client.
He called police, who then arrested Gray.
He’s due in court today for a preliminary exam on the lottery theft charge.
But, now he will also being facing charges of violating his probation.
