Thousands of metro Detroiters can say they got their first ballet or tap shoes from Lynches Costume Shop in Dearborn.
Now the shop is closing it’s doors. Patrick Lynch, the owner, says Lynch’s first opened it’s doors 68 years ago. Lynch says he can no longer compete with on line retailors.

They have to be out of the building by July 1, he said. The store is liquidating its inventory.
