A 12-year-old boy knew what to do when a strange man asked him to get into his truck. He ran away and told his parents.
The incident took place Sunday in front of Parsons Elementary in Gibraltar.
The man was white and in his 30s. He was driving a black Ford F-150 single-cab pickup truck with a black bed cap.
Police said patrols will be increased around all Gibraltar schools today.
