Gruesome Cold Case In Court

Two Macomb County teenagers are due in court in a year-old murder case in which the victim was dismembered.

19 year old Michael Fiacco of Ray Township and 18 year old Eevette MacDonald of Shelby Township were arrested last month and charged in the death of 19 year old Stephen McAfee of Macomb Township.

He had disappeared in the early morning hours of March 10th last year.

An unidentified woman came forward last month and implicated Fiacco and MacDonald in the murder.

Police questioned Fiacco, who eventually led officers to a shallow grave behind his home and to a vacant field in Bruce Township where body parts were uncovered.

Fiacco is charged with shooting McAfee while MacDonald is accused of helping to dismmember the body and cover up the crime.

Police say the case was especially troubling in that Fiacco and McAfee had been best friends since they were little boys.

Prosecutors say they are unsure as to a motive for the slaying and that Fiacco gave them several versions of what happened.
