A Roseville man is due in court today for a preliminary exam on a charge of owning a dangerous dog causing serious injuries.
29 year old Robert Laughton’s dog attacked his mother and her boyfriend back on April 30th and left them near death.
The dog has been euthanized.
This was the second time his mother had been attacked by the dog.
The first was on April 19th and she required 30 stitches to treat her wounds.
Following that attack, Laughton agreed to quarantine the dog for ten days and then turn it over to the macomb County Animal Shelter to be euthanized.
This second attack occurred the day before the dog was to be put down.
The dog was euthanized following this latest attack.
