Detroit Police shot a teenaged gunman during a robbery at a drug store on the west side.
The officer-involved shooting took place at a CVS store on McNichols and Wyoming. Police were called to the scene of the armed robbery taking place at the store. Officers reportedly were fired on, and they returned fire.
Two teen boys are reportedly in custody. Police at the scene say one of them was shot in the buttocks. No officers were injured.
A witness says the teen gunmen took a customer hostage in the robbery attempt before police arrived.
