A small SUV slammed into the back of a fire truck — and the crash killed a woman and left a man with critical injuries. It happened overnight on the westbound lanes of I-94 at Grove Street in Ypsilanti .
The Ypsilanti Fire Department says one of it’s rigs was at the scene of a rollover accident when a Ford Escape slammed into the back of the fire truck.
A woman in the Escape was killed, a man is at the hospital in critical condition and a third person was not hurt.
No fire personnel were hurt.
