Ex-Prof Learns Hard Lesson

A former Oakland University professor is due in court today on charged he made illegal drugs available at his home in Oakland Township.
Joseph Schiele had taught business classes at Oakland since 2004.

He was arrested back in February after Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant.

Deputies said three men and a woman ranging in age from the teens to the early 20’s were in the home.

Two of the men were  taken into custody.

The other man, a 19 year old O.U. student and the woman, were granted immunity to testify against the professor.

Investigators believe he was dispersing amphetamines and a drug known as ‘special K’ at his home.
