Their Hoodies Gave These Hoods Away

These hoods wore hoodies during their crime spree, that might backfire on them.
Prosecutors say they broke into a Mount Clemens home in July of 2015 and robbed six people while armed with guns and knives.

Following a 9-1- call, police later stopped a vehicle and found five people inside with the stolen items.

Two victims were brought to the scene and identified the men by their clothing.

The suspects had all worn different colored hoodies during the robbery and one of the female victims later identified the suspects by their clothing.

However, two of the people in the car didn’t have hoodies on at the time and defense attorneys claimed they were wrongly identified.

A judge ruled that the identifications will stand and the question can be raised at trial.

Charged are 3 Clinton Township men, 19 year old Channor Lewis, 20 year old Dwayne Rasberry Junior and 20 year old Joshua Mills along with 21 year old Jesse Stevens of Mount Clemens and 23 year old Chevas Walker of Kalamazoo.

They are scheduled to go on trial today in Macomb County Circuit Court.
