Ex-Fireman Faces Fatal Drunk Driving Charge

A former Warren firefighter is scheduled to be in court today for a pre-trial hearing on a second degree murder charge he is facing in a fatal drunken driving crash.

Police say the Tad Dennis was drunk and traveling at a high rate of speed in September of 2015 when he smashed head-on into a vehicle being driven by 17 year old Diana Pozderca of Sterling Heights.

An investigation determined that Dennis had been traveling at about 80 miles an hour when he hit her car.

Dennis had been off-duty at the time and had attended a golf outing earlier in the day.
