Detroit Police are searching a neighborhood in southwest Detroit looking for whoever fired gun shots at officers.
Detroit Police say after midnight someone fired several rounds at officers in the 880 block of Chamberlain, near I-75 and Fort Street. Officers returned fired but don’t believe the shooter was hit.
More than a dozen gunshots were fired.
Police have given a description of the shooter, an Hispanic male 28 to 30, 5-8, 200, short brown hair or bald. They say they think they know who he is.
