A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for two people charged with tasering a Detroit police officer.
It happened on July 6th.
Officers had gone to investigate a complaint of a disturbance involving several people in a car.
The occupants were told to get out of the car.
Police say 23 year old Mario Delgado rush at the officers, bumping one of them in the chest.
They say that 27 year old Erica Garcia then rushed into a nearby house, got a stun gun and then zapped one of the officers.
Both were arrested at the scene and have been charged with assault and resisting arrest.
